About the Company

Svogerslev Kro is a traditional Danish country inn (kro) in Svogerslev near Roskilde. We serve Danish and French-inspired cuisine made from quality ingredients to restaurant guests, hotel guests and private events.

About the Position

We are looking for a skilled and motivated chef to join our kitchen team. Your main tasks will include:

• Preparing hot and cold dishes à la carte and for menus, events and celebrations

• Daily preparation (mise en place), cooking and plating to a high standard

• Ensuring high standards of hygiene, food safety and kitchen organisation

• Ordering ingredients, receiving deliveries and managing stock

• Participating in cleaning and closing of the kitchen

Requirements

• Experience as a chef/cook in a restaurant kitchen

• You are reliable, efficient and take pride in your work

• You are able to work independently as well as part of a team

• You can communicate in Danish or English

• You are flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends
