Evening Shift Supervisor in Facility Service

Then you may be the supervisor we are looking for to join our evening shift in Facility Service. 

As a supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring high-quality cleaning services for our customers and in following up with the employees carrying out the work. You will work largely on your own and independently, so it is essential that you are able to structure your own working day, maintain an overview and take responsibility for ensuring that tasks are followed through to completion. 

At the same time, you need to be good with people. An important part of the job is following up on employees’ work and providing clear, respectful and constructive feedback, so employees know what is working well and where adjustments may be needed. 

Your responsibilities 

Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our customers receive the quality and service we have agreed with them. Your tasks will include: 

• following up on cleaning services at our customers’ premises and ensuring that they meet the agreed service standards 

• carrying out quality inspections and recording the results in our systems 

• maintaining an ongoing dialogue with employees about the quality of their work 

• providing specific and constructive feedback and following up when something needs to be done differently 

• training and coaching employees at customer sites 

• contributing to the start-up and quality assurance of services for new customers 

• maintaining an ongoing dialogue with operations management about quality and follow-up 

• responding and reporting when you identify errors, deficiencies or other issues at a customer site 

• ensuring that cleaning rooms are kept tidy and that bicycles, carts and other equipment are properly maintained. 

Who are you?

You are systematic and have a natural sense of structure. As you will often work alone, you must be comfortable prioritising your own tasks and making the necessary decisions along the way. You take ownership and act when you see something that is not as it should be. 

At the same time, you understand that good quality is created together with the employees. You communicate clearly and respectfully and are comfortable having the conversation when something needs to be improved. 

You can give feedback in a way that is clear, respectful and helps the employee move forward. 

In addition, we expect that you: 

• are service-minded and customer-focused 

• work in a structured and efficient manner 

• are solution-oriented and good at maintaining an overview 

• have experience in commercial cleaning 

• have knowledge of cleaning products, materials and equipment 

• have experience training, guiding or managing employees 

• are proficient in Danish and English, both written and spoken 

• are comfortable cycling, as a bicycle is part of the working day.

Terms of employment 

The position is full-time and subject to the applicable collective agreement. 

The work takes place in central Copenhagen, in Jeudan’s classic properties. You will cycle or walk around the area. You must be in good physical condition, as the properties also have stairs.
