Farm Worker – Cattle, Calves & Sheep | Stavanger, Norway

We are looking for a responsible and motivated farm worker to join a livestock farm near Stavanger, Norway. The position involves working with cattle, calves and sheep, including animal care and assistance during the calving season.

Location: Stavanger, Norway
Start Date: 1 December 2026
Employment Period: Until April/May 2027

Job Responsibilities

December – February:

• Feeding and taking care of calves and sheep.

• Cleaning animal housing and maintaining hygiene.

• Monitoring animal health and welfare.

• Performing general daily farm duties.

March – April (Calving Season):

• Assisting cows and sheep during the birthing season.

• Taking care of newborn calves and lambs.

• Monitoring animals and providing necessary assistance.

• Supporting additional farm tasks during the busy season.

Please note: Milking is not part of this position.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with farm animals is an advantage.

• Responsible, reliable and hardworking.

• Interest in animal care and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to work overtime during the busy calving season when required.

Salary and Accommodation

• Salary: 220–230 NOK per hour (before tax).

• Accommodation: Available for 3,000 NOK per month.

• Start Date: 1 December 2026.

• Contract Duration: Approximately until April/May 2027, depending on the farm’s needs.
