Job duties and responsibilities

• Perform post-mortem inspections of pigs to ensure safety and quality standards.

• Support the daily operations of the slaughterhouse inspection team.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation using company IT systems.

• Collaborate effectively within a large and dynamic team environment.

• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Job requirements

• Certified as a red meat inspection technician or hold equivalent qualifications.

• Relevant education or practical experience in the field of meat inspection.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a large team.

• Commitment to continuous professional and personal development.

• Solid IT skills.

• English skills: Advanced level required.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license required: B or BE recommended 

Salary and benefits

• Hourly gross salary: 192.82 kr./hour, according to the applicable collective agreement.

• Working hours: 160 hours per month, in 2 shifts between 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM.

• 6 weeks of paid holiday per annum.

• Accommodation and transportation to work: provided if needed.
