Pig Farm Worker – Farrowing Unit

Location: Struer, Central Jutland, Denmark
Employment: Full-time

We are looking for a motivated employee to join a pig farm in the Struer area.

Previous pig farm experience is not required. The most important requirement is a genuine interest in working with pigs and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assisting experienced stockpeople in the farrowing unit

• Washing and cleaning stables

• Moving and handling pigs

• Assisting with insemination

• Basic record-keeping

• Supporting daily routines in the barn

• Following animal welfare, hygiene and farm procedures

Requirements

• No previous experience required

• Strong interest in working with pigs

• Good English skills due to an international team

• Reliable and willing to learn

• Comfortable with practical and physical farm work

• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Salary and Conditions

• Salary: 130–135 DKK/hour gross

• Accommodation: 2,000 DKK/month

• Approximately 15 hours of overtime per week

• Training provided on the farm
