Souschef – Naan Kebab & Sweets ApS

Join our kitchen team as Souschef

Naan Kebab & Sweets ApS is looking for an experienced, motivated, and responsible Souschef to become an important part of our growing team in Ballerup.

As Souschef, you will work closely with the kitchen management and play a key role in ensuring that our daily operations run smoothly. You will help lead the kitchen team, maintain high standards, and make sure our customers receive consistently good food and service.

We are passionate about quality and take pride in serving delicious food, including what we believe are some of the best burgers in Ballerup.

Your role and responsibilities

As Souschef, you will have responsibility for supporting the daily management of the kitchen, including:

– Assisting the Head Chef with the daily operation of the kitchen

– Taking responsibility for the kitchen when the Head Chef is not present

– Coordinating and supporting kitchen staff during service

– Ensuring that food is prepared according to our recipes and quality standards

– Maintaining consistent taste, presentation, and portion sizes

– Ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety

– Helping with planning and preparation before service

– Monitoring stock levels and helping with ordering and receiving ingredients

– Minimising food waste and ensuring efficient use of ingredients

– Training and supporting new kitchen employees

– Helping maintain a positive, professional, and respectful working environment

– Contributing ideas to improve our menu, kitchen routines, and overall food quality

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who:

– Has professional kitchen experience, preferably in a similar Souschef or senior kitchen role

– Has strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations

– Can take responsibility and work independently

– Is organised and able to remain calm during busy periods

– Has good leadership and communication skills

– Takes food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness seriously

– Is reliable, flexible, and a strong team player

– Has a genuine passion for cooking and delivering a good customer experience

Working hours: 13:00–21:00

Working days: Wednesday–Sunday

Monday and Tuesday: Closed
